At Urban Paws, our highest priority is the health and well being of your beloved pet – everything we do is designed with you and your pet’s safety in mind. To insure the best experience, our salon is bright, roomy and clean. All grooming is done in plain view – if you like, your pet need never leave your sight.
We created Urban Paws to exercise our passion for great grooming. We’ve all mastered gentle, confident animal care and handling, as well as grooming skills that produce consistently beautiful results. In short, we make your pet look and feel great!
Our specialty is the special-needs pet: animals with physical limitations such as advanced age or blindness are handled with the greatest of care and love. You’ll see that we excel at providing a soothing, relaxing, gentle experience.
Although we schedule dogs and cats by appointment, we also welcome walk-ins. From start to finish, a pet grooming at Urban Paws lasts from 3 to 5 hours depending on the day and special needs of each pet. Grooming can be very stressful and dangerous if rushed. Please let us know at drop off if you need your dog by a specific time and we will see if we can accommodate that. If it is imperative a fee can be added to jump ahead if possible.
Please only leave your pet with us if you feel 100% confident in what we have to offer. No feelings are hurt if we are not the shop for you, a good fit is on both sides and our relationship can last a life time. Pick with care.
In our experience, our customers can relax more, knowing they don’t have to leave their pet with us all day. When your pet’s ready, we’ll call you so you can pick them up as soon as their grooming is completed. To guarantee the highest quality, we also limit the number of pets we service in one day. So please inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to make it to your appointment.

Our large, well-lit, air conditioned facility has a unique design: all grooming is done in the front area where everyone can watch and feel comfortable that their pet is getting professional, loving care.
Each service includes a consultation your pet is groomed completely with one groomer. We find this to be less stress on the dogs. Your groomer will discuss options such as what shampoo will best fit your pet’s needs and what style of clip would best suit your pet.
